Helping Yourself with Magical Oils
A-Z
Solomon |
This is one of
my favorite books by Scott Cunningham. He explores so many different methods of magickal
creation that there is something for everyone and more. If you want to learn more about
making your own incense, brews, potions, powders, inks, soaps, tinctures, oils, herbal
baths, etc., YOU MUST BUY THIS BOOK. Each section is informative and full of recipes,
explanations, suggestions, and warnings. The chapter on substitution is excellent and the
charts and appendixes are helpful as well. The book's tone is more instructional rather
than spiritual, especially compared to Cunningham's other books. If you are looking for
in-depth information about magical herbs and oils, I highly recommend reading Cunningham's
Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs and The Magic of Aromatherapy in addition to The Complete
Book of Incense, Oils, and Brews. |
There are over
100,000 Oils in this A-Z guide written to help anyone use the vast magickal powers of oils
to achieve their goals. This book is packed with charms, spells, rituals and formulas all
of which can be used by any person who has sufficient belief and desire to do so. Let the
mystical powers of oils bring prosperity and balance to all aspects of your life, health,
wealth, love and more

Magic With Incense and Powders
by A Riva |
If you are patient enough to invest the time, money,
and practice to create personal incense with your own two hands, this is definitely a book
that I would recommend. In all of my exhaustive searching's, this is one of the few books
that I have found that actually described the steps needed to make incense, from referring
you to the ingredients needed to make various types of incense (stick, cone, loose, and
others), to the steps required to dry and burn the incense as a finished product- the
author even goes as far as to tell you which censers are the best to use, and how. No
matter what our reasons for making incense, this book is an excellent reference tool. It
will help you to know the satisfying feeling of lighting a cone or stick of incense that
you made yourself (not store-bought from some large faceless corporation where you don't
know what ingredients were put in it, and are afraid to ask), and enjoying the esoteric
pleasure that it brings you. |
This book will
provide a much needed guide to many occult incenses and powders being used today and the
various methods of employing them to gain one's objectives. There have been other books
covering these materials, with lists of their purposes, but the attempt here is to give
full information and complete directions for specific purposes. Within these pages you
will find over 850 rituals for almost that same number of different objectives. Included
are about 250 incenses and over 300 powders, with an index for locating the various
subjects which interest you. However, an index cannot provide a complete list of
everything included in the text, so it is suggested that you read the entire book, perhaps
marking those rituals which you may wish to use sometime in the future. There are magical
procedures here for love, protection, resisting evil, increasing wealth, staying out of
jail, and easing pain. Paperback, 128 pages |
